My inspiration is urban street tagging, graffiti and decay. My style is Abstract Expressionism. I use my own personal hand writing, creating a contemporary, modern feel. The works I paint explore my inner voice, my true feelings, my experiences and issues I feel are important. This is my way to express how I truly feel, my freedom of speech in a artistic way..

The messages I wish to get across are issues in today's society. Some of the subjects are personal experiences and some are not. It is liberating, being able to paint what I think & feel.

My contrasts include textured / smooth, controlled / loose, light / dark. I use a limited colour palette 2 – 3 in each piece. I use a range of painting tools including a palette knife, different size paint brushes, rollers & occasionally I get stuck in with my hands, there’s nothing like feeling like a child again!

My works are very textured and have a raw feel to them.
