Wax Mixed Media - Photo Print / Encaustic Medium / Cold Wax / Oil Paint
Roseanne Jones has been exploring Encaustic Photography since 2017. Encaustic gives her fine art photography an added element of depth and texture. She uses encaustic medium, cold wax and oil paint. Roseanne creates detail by engraving into the wax using sculptor’s tools; this inscribed detail enables the oil paint to set into the wax and adds contrast to the work.
